Permanent Water Saving Rules are now in place.

These compulsory rules apply every day of the year across all of Victoria to ensure we all use water wisely.

Water Restrictions

During drought periods, water restrictions are sometimes used to limit how and when we use drinking water outdoors. This helps reduce demand when we’re not getting enough rain. There are four stages of restrictions and range from stage one (mild) to stage four (severe).
